The Libraries' Mission Statement

The Smith College Libraries advance teaching, learning, research, and discovery for Smith students, faculty, and staff by offering collections in multiple formats, access to information worldwide, and services responsive to users' needs. In recognition of Smith's commitment to women's experience, the Libraries also collect, preserve, and provide access to unique archival materials that record the history of women.
