Neilson Library in Contemporary Fiction

Neilson Library even plays a role in contemporary fiction. In alumna J. Courtney Sullivan’s Commencement, a novel about four Smithies and their lives before and after graduation, faculty office B-106 in the basement of Neilson is the site of a student and professor’s extended romantic relationship. (Faculty office B-106 does not exist in the real Neilson Library.)
